The ever popular phenomenon of file sharing has really taken off of late, and there are numerous free file sharing applications available at the moment. BearShare is one of the more popular choices, and itÂ’s not hard to see why. With good download speeds and a wide range of files to choose from, as well as a media player and solid content filter, BearShare is certainly not lacking in the features department. The initial setup is relatively quick and painless, and the user friendly interface makes operating the application a breeze. The only real problem with BearShare is the adware that comes with the download, which is incredibly annoying and potentially harmful. This, unfortunately, ruins what is otherwise an excellent file sharing application. Potential users should take note of this before downloading Bearshare, and consider one of the many alternatives available instead.
