Miranda IM is certainly the lightest IM application I have ever used. Its barely there interface

can contain almost any IM that you are familiar with. From AIM to MSN to Yahoo and even Jabber. Miranda IM is practically featureless though. This unbelievably tiny freeware may be too simple for the power user but if you are interested in keeping all you chatting eggs in one basket so to speak, Miranda IM is the tool for you.
