Highway Pursuit is a traditional, adrenaline packed arcade racer, which sees players driving a car with mounted machine guns down a highway at breakneck speeds with the goal of destroying rival cars. Add to that the fact that there are also civilian cars on the road that need to be protected and you have an altogether thrilling driving experience. Anyone in search of a deep plotline or involved game play will have to look elsewhere. Highway Pursuit is nothing more than a fast paced arcade racer, but it is incredibly entertaining none the less. The graphics look good and realistic explosions help cover up the otherwise annoying background music. Yes, its shallow, but its frantic pace ensures a white-knuckled ride not to be missed.
