As far as DTM system utilities go, the DTM ODBC Manager is a good, albeit complex one. With the DTM ODBC Manager, you can export data source definitions into files and then restore them back onto either a local or remote system. The process is not easy though and DTM ODBC Manager fights with you every step of the way. Importing and exporting data files was something of a nightmare and only by running the remote registry service (another download) would the application even begin to work correctly. Only use if you have the time and inclination to learn this one.

ODBC Manager is an indispensable tool for DBAs or developers who have to transfer data source definitions between computers and is a perfect addition to the system ODBC Administrator. The program allows you to audit local and remote data source definitions, remove DSNs and import definitions created on one of the computers on a remote system right from your workplace. To do it, "Remote Registry Service" must be running on the system you work with and it must have all necessary drivers installed. The program works both with system DSNs and with user DSNs. DTM ODBC Manager allows you to operate not only with a single DSN, but also to export or import all existing items or those selected in the list.
