Google Desktop is another of those fantastic tools you never realized you could live without until you had it. Google indexes your desktop for searching, so finding that miscellaneous file on your pc becomes no problem at all. The search bar can be access by pressing "ctrl" twice and from then on, no files can hide from your view. Google Desktop is truly a fantastic tool and one that your computer cannot live without.
