As a free CD and DVD burning suite, Final Burner does an excellent job. Designed as an all-in-one burning application, the tool comes with an impressive array of features, and users can go about creating CDs, DVDs, HD-DVDs, dual layer DVDs and even Blu-Ray discs with considerable ease. When compared with some commercial CD burning tools, Final Burner may have a few less features, but considering that it is freeware this is to be expected, and with all the fundamental aspects of CD and DVD burning covered, it remains a top contender in the genre. Add to this a simple, streamlined interface, impressive performance and the added ability to rip audio from CDs as well as creating and burning image files, and you have a very impressive, top-class CD and DVD burning application.
