X-ray Mail assistant beta (now available in a full non-beta form) uses
a system of checks and filters to remove all unwanted email from your
system. Before mail even arrives in your inbox, X-ray Mail assistant
beta has already used rules determined by the user to eliminate all
possible virus or spam mail. X-ray Mail assistant beta works as well
as you would expect it. It takes a fair amount of setup before X-ray
Mail assistant beta is completely effective. as it needs plenty of
suspect mail to "learn" before true elimination of spam and threats
are completely destroyed.

X-Ray is an email header filter and POP/SMTP server switching tool. It runs as a local POP/SMTP relay server and scans your incoming and/or outgoing mail for user specified mail headers. Once it finds a match it can change the header, remove it, replace it or perform some other special modifications. In addition, the program allows you to set up multiple profiles for POP and SMTP servers and switch between them from the system tray. X-Ray can also run as an NT service.
