The majority of the free software programming tools available appear to be aimed at specialists in the field, and beginners have relatively few options when it comes to finding a utility for learning the basics of programming. Enter Just Basic, an excellent software programming utility for learning and teaching the basics in this broad field. While it may not be the most powerful programming tool around, and is certainly not suited to 3D design, it offers decent functionality and is easy enough to use to remain an incredibly worthwhile freeware application. Just Basic can be used to create games, tools, system utilities or any other software application, and the nature of the programÂ’s design is such that virtually anybody can get into it with ease and begin programming straightaway. On the downside, there have been some complaints regarding the stability of Just Basic, but for the most part it is sufficiently stable and when crashes do occur they tend to be very few and far between. Just Basic is aimed squarely at users learning or teaching the basic aspects of programming, and if you fit that bill, then this is a must have utility.
