Unfortunately, you are contently made aware that this is indeed the free version, and so access to several of the applications extra features remains restricted until you pay the purchase price required to upgrade to the full version. While this can be annoying and acts as a potential deterrent, WinGuard Pro 2006 Free Edition still offers enough functionality to make it a worthwhile freeware PC security tool. The combination of performance and accessibility is impressive, and while there are better security suites on the market, they tend to come complete with a hefty price tag.
