CD Match Application does just that; it matches a CD that you have inserted into your PC with certain applications installed on your machine. For example, you can decide which media utility to launch when a music CD or DVD is inserted. While CD Match Application does its intended task sufficiently, one canÂ’t help but question whether or not such an application is actually necessary. The auto-run feature in Windows does a very similar job, and although doesnÂ’t allow for customization to the extent that CD Match Application does, the difference between the two is only very slight. Having to manually select which application you wish to run your CDÂ’s in is not really a difficult or time consuming task, and while the automation of this process has some appeal, it is not enough to warrant the download. CD Match Application doesnÂ’t offer any advanced features and is limited in functionality, making it a rather average freeware application.

Launches any program for inserted CD - just associate program(s) to launch with your CD.
You need not anymore for the one program launching from CD's "autorun.inf" file: when your desire changes, - change the program(s) to launch.

For foreign CD-s (which are not in the 'CD Match' database) , 'CD Match' can :
- collect files by their extensions for the inserted (or presented) CD-s, and offer to launch from collected - just define what (video, archives, applications) to collect.
- offer to open program from CD's 'Autorun.inf' file.

So, almost all the job concerning CD playing' regardless of CD's content can be done by 'CD Match'.

It has 3 interface languages - English, Russian and French - the last two are available only for appropriate local settings.
