Anyone who uses their PC for extended periods of time has no doubt customized their start menu to suit their individual needs, but in case you havenÂ’t then Vista Start menu is a tool for doing just that. This small application gives your start menu a virtual facelift, dividing your programs up into categories and making them easier to access. Navigating the new menu is lightning fast, and it is similar enough in style to the traditional start menu to prevent any confusion or difficulty, even for the most novice of users. In fact, therein lies a fundamental flaw of Vista Start Menu; it doesnÂ’t really do enough to justify the download. Yes, the start menu is given a visual coat of paint, but it is essentially still the same old default Windows menu, with most of the changes being purely cosmetic in nature, and while this isnÂ’t a bad thing, it does leave you wondering whether Vista Start Menu is actually worth the effort. If you are seriously in need of a slightly improved start menu, or are just bored of your current menu then give this one a try. If you are comfortable with your current setup though, this tool is not going to add anything at all.
