DC++ is one of many peer to peer file sharing utilities available, and it does nothing to really differentiate itself from the competition. For those who don't know, peer to peer file sharing allows users from across the world to access shared files on each other's PCs. DC++ has a large database of files available, but unfortunately many of the files are corrupted or virus infected. Download speeds are good due to the segmenting of the files, but the interface is rather awkward and takes some getting used to. All in all, DC++ is rather disappointing, and falls well short of the benchmark set by competitors in the genre.
