This freeware security application, Encryption pack for Ms Office certainly does the trick. It adds two more buttons to your Office toolbars, “Encrypt” and “Decrypt”. The Encryption/decryption process itself was very fast both ways. I myself cannot hack so I could not test the strength of the 256 bit security measures.
