This is a very useful tool for those of you, like myself, that spend many hours every day on the PC.

Workrave runs in your taskbar and has set break times (which you can personalize), it has Micro Breaks, Rest Breaks and then a timer for when you should stop for the day. When the break happens a message pops up and you can set it to disable all control of the PC until the break is done.

Very useful.

Workraves sole function is to stay on your taskbar and assign “Mini-breaks”. At any set interval (defined by the user or Workrave) an alarm will sound, flashing itself on your taskbar to indicate that it is indeed time for a small rest from work. Despite my usually loaded sarcasm, I found Workrave to be a more then useful application. Correct rest is key to productivity and Workrave has relaxation at its heart.
