Ajour is a very useful little freeware application to help keep busy individuals on top of a demanding schedule. It is essentially a calendar, diary and organizer all in one, and while there are many other similar utilities available, it still manages to create a lasting impression and is as good a choice as any of its competitors. In much the same way as an ordinary diary, Ajour can be used to schedule and organize appointments on a daily basis, and also features a useful reminder system, ensuring that important events are not forgotten. Functionality is further boosted by a telephone directory, which can store numbers and manage contacts. The clear, neatly set out interface makes navigation and operation quick and convenient, and although Ajour is not as feature-laden as one would like, it suffers no serious flaws and performs its intended function well enough.

Ajour is an easy-to-use personal information manager (PIM). Use it as a combined calendar, diary, organizer, and reminder.

Keep track of dates, appointments, annual events like birthdays, todo items, and notes. You can also dial phone numbers stored in your data just by double-clicking them. Ajour supports 7 languages in the user interface: Danish, Dutch, English, German, French, Russian, and Spanish.

In the Ajour package you also get a program that starts when you log on/start your computer (this behavior can be turned off). It will show you whatever upcoming appointments and events you have in the following week as well as any tagged todo items you have entered.
