Google Web Accelerator did not make much of a difference to my casual surfing regime. After a simple installation, a counter displays in the corner of your browser indicating how many seconds have been saved. I repeatedly logged into Facebook to test the speeds and every time I logged in, Facebook loaded at the same speed. I used Google Web Accelerator for about an hour and did not notice any major speed differences to my connection. Is Google Web Accelerator of any use at all? Only time will tell.
