As the name suggests, Desktop Currency Converter is a very useful currency converting utility for your PC desktop. One of the striking things about this application is the colorful interface, which, although adds nothing to the actual functionality, makes for a nice change and definitely counts in the utilities favor. Featuring support for 30 foreign currencies, this desktop application allows you to convert one currency to another quickly and conveniently, with the simple click of a button. Desktop Currency Converter connects to the internet in order to stay up-to-date with current exchange rates, and if a connection is unavailable, it can still function in offline mode, although if you donÂ’t connect on a regular basis the exchange rate settings will obviously become dated. Desktop Currency Converter is by no means remarkable, but it is still a solid freeware utility, and its colorful interface, ease of use and excellent performance make it the ideal tool for currency conversion.
