With Avi Codec, you are assured to find the codec your pc is searching for. Dropping a file into the Avi Codec window produced an instant result of which codec's (specific files needed to play some movie or sound formats) are associated to said file. Rating Avi Codec is easy as it does exactly what it says on the tin. I found the print-out of codec's easy to decipher and because of this I managed to download the missing codec's I need to run my file. Avi Codec is handy freeware indeed.
