Soulseek is one of the top rated, and most popular file sharing clients available, with solid performance and an excellent database of files itÂ’s easy to see why. A file sharing application is only as good as the community that makes use of it, and SoulseekÂ’s popularity has ensured a mass following, which means that the client is home to millions of downloadable files, many of them unique. Soulseek is by no means perfect, and the boring interface can be quite tricky to navigate at first. Without support for multi-source downloads, download speeds are average at best, and the memory hungry client could use some improving in the next update. Despite these teething problems, Soulseek is a very good file sharing application, and is a serious contender for top spot in the genre.
