Outbound is a very entertaining addition to any gaming collection, and allows players to pilot their own, heavily armed robot, wreaking havoc across eight different planets while collecting weapons and power-ups along the way. Outbound is pretty much a standard arcade shooter, and doesn't bring anything radically different to the genre. Having said that, the pace of the action and the crisp, colourful graphics really work to put Outbound a step above the rest. Going on a violent rampage, annihilating your enemies and capturing their structures has never been so much fun. Sure, itÂ’s not going to win any awards for innovation, but makes up for this by offering loads of good, clean fun. Outbound is a solid action game, and is well worth the download.
