Basic Arkanoid is an excellent clone of this old, classic arcade game. The download is tiny and once the super-fast installation is complete, Basic Arkanoid loads with very few options, other than the arcade mode itself. The aim of the game is to deflect the ball against your paddle and destroy the bricks one at time until the screen is cleared. Move onto the next screen and repeat. If Basic Arkanoid sounds repetitive, it is because it is. This type of game should have been killed off ages ago yet it still seems to crop up every year or so.
